MEDICATION HANDLING AND ADMINISTRATION

POLICY

Sunshine Farm does not prescribe manage, store, or dispense medication.
This includes over the counter medication such as pain management and cold medication.

PROCEDURES

A. Individuals attending must self manage medication.
It is understood that individuals attending Sunshine Farm must be completely independent in management of any medications they require. No medications, either prescription or over the counter are administered, stored, or managed by any staff at Sunshine Farm.

1. Any individual attending who bring their own medication must keep it stored in their personal bag or backpack.

2. Any individual attending who needs medication either routinely or on an as needed basis must be independently capable of managing the dosage, timing, and safe storage of their medication.
